Area police arrested a local man for allegedly breaking into two area drug stores in one night.
Jesse Roger Hughes Jr., 34, of Holden, was arrested on Jan. 9 for breaking and entering by West Virginia State Police Trooper R.L. Frye.
Troopers Frye and P.A. Jones responded to an alarm call at Rite Aid pharmacy in Mount Gay. The officers reportedly saw Hughes walking near the Rite Aid and located a hole that had been cut in the rear of the structure where dry wall residue was found around the hole
