31 arrested in Oceana area drug raid

OCEANA Police arrested several Wyoming County residents on drug charges on Friday in the Oceana area.
A report from the West Virginia State Police said that on Friday at 6 p.m., 31 drug arrest warrants and two search warrants were executed by members of the West Virginia State Police and the Wyoming County Sheriffs Department in the
The police report said a large quantity of prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized along with $3,000 in cash and a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck.
Over the past several months, the West Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations developed criminal cases against several individuals who were arrested on Friday, including Carl Justice, Jr., 60, of Kopperston; Robert Lusk II, 28, of Oceana; Pauline Turbin, 33, of Lynco; Angel Reed, 26, of Kopperston; Charlene Justice, 31, of Oceana; Zebb Justice, 35, of Oceana; and Amy Lusk, 26, of Oceana.
Several further arrests are expected in the near future, the report said.
The West Virginia State Police, the Wyoming County Sheriffs Department and the Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorneys office have been working diligently with local civic and church groups, state and federal legislators and the Departmentof Health and Human Resources to address the drug abuse issues in Wyoming County, the report said.
