Noah Cottrill will be playing at least one more high school basketball game before heading to WVU in June.
Cottrill, who came to Logan High School for his senior season and led the Wildcats to the Class AAA state championship, is scheduled to play in the North-South All-Star Basketball Game, which is set for Friday, June 18, at 6 p.m. at the South Charleston Community Center.
Cottrill averaged 29.2 points, made 101 3-pointers, hit nearly 77 percent of his free throws and also averaged 5.8 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game.
The 6-foot-3 point guard has been named as a Fourth-Team All-American by Parade magazine and a Second-Team All-American by ESPN Rise.
Cottrill will have some notable teammates on the South All-Star roster, including Nathan Brewer and Channing Preece of Tug Valley and Evan Muscari of Wyoming East.
The other South players are: Ron Beatty, South Charleston; Michael Brumfield, Cabell Midland; Tommy Gwinn, Capital; Kyle James, Mount Hope; Caleb Keller, Sissonville; Adam Kline, Winfield; Craig Ponder, Bluefield; Jalen Walker, Greenbrier East; Matt Walker, Cabell Midland; and Sam Wood, Charleston Catholic.
The South coaches are Garland Thompson of Tug Valley and Rory Chapman of Wyoming East.
The North All-Star roster consists of: Jerome Axton, Bridgeport; Jared Blatt, Magnolia; L.J. Campbell, Weir; George Chase, Martinsburg; Cole Cwynar, Parkersburg Catholic; Chase Fieler, Parkersburg South; Ty Garrison, Fairmont Senior; Chris Martinez, Trinity; Morgan McDonald, Musselman; Luke Murray, Ravenswood; Clay Owings, Oak Glen; Josh Poling, Tucker County; Sam Runner, Morgantown; and T.J. Thompson, Preston.
The North coaches are Joe Garrett of Parkersburg Catholic and Mike Granato of Weir.
