Logan County Schools bus drivers were busy last week with training and gearing up for the 2012-13 school year. Drivers pre-tripped buses and went through a driving course. Pictured above, Diana Adams, transportation supervisor, shows Logan County bus driver Jimmy Carter defects on a wheel of a bus as they go through a pre-trip bus. Adams was a veteran bus driver. She previously won first place in the W.Va. Bus Rodeo, a winner in southeastern regionals and has also won Regional Rodeo. Carter is a 10 year veteran bus driver and currently drives in Chapmanville area. Motorist should be aware that school buses will be on the road Monday morning and students will be standing along the highway waiting on their bus. Most accidents and deaths occur when children are getting on and off the bus. Please, be aware that school in Logan County begins Monday.
