HARTS, W.Va. — Elsie Mae Estep, 70 of Harts, departed this life Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Mt. Home Cemetery.
Born August 15, 1942, at Harts, she was a daughter of the late Roosevelt and Hester Wiley. Also preceding her in death was her first husband, Edward Ray Kinder; second husband, Herb Estep; one daughter, Tammy Kinder; one brother, Ernest Wiley; one sister, Baby Sissy, and one step-son, Ronnie Estep.
Elsie enjoyed gensenging, camping, boating, fishing, spending time with family and friends, feeding squirrels and going to church.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Janie (Ronnie) Kirk of Silversprings, Fla.; three sons, Danny (Lee) Kinder of Hurricane, and Timmy (Amy) Kinder and James (Sandy) Kinder, both of Harts; one step-daughter, Brenda Nottingham of Kokomo, Ind.; three step-sons, Walter Estep of Harts, Anthony Estep of Milton and Jimmy Estep of Mt. Olive; three sisters, Irene Dalton, Della (James) Noll and Ona Mae (Arlie) Dalton; five brothers, Dee (Ann) Wiley, Bill Wiley, Johnny (Violet) Wiley, Eugene (Rosemary) Wiley, and Odell Wiley; 14 grandchildren, Kim (Chris) Lee, Pam (Keith) TaFoya, Amanda (Eric) Thomas, Jami (Justin) Bryant, Keisha (Heather) Kinder, Jacey (Tommy) Lewis, Whitney Kinder, Sarah Sirk, Christopher Kinder, Tiffany (Dylan) Thompson, Trevor Kinder, Benjamin Tackett, Alexandria Tackett, and Zackary (Rachel) Kirk, and 11 great-grandchildren, Chase Saunders, Olivia Lee, Heyden Thompson, Noah TaFoya, Dustin, Blake and Dylan Bryant, Landon Sirk, Zakkary Kirk, Piper Thompson and Xavier Grant.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 10, at Freeman Funeral Home with Christian Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at the Wiley/Dalton Cemetery at Short Bend of Harts.
Visitation will be from 6-10 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lee, Keith TaFoya, Justin Bryant, Tommy Norman, Zack Kirk, Eric Thomas, Chase Saunders, Dustin Bryant and Dylan Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Kirk and Chris Kinder.
Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
