FAIRDALE, W.Va. — Edith Crabtree, 83, of Fairdale, joined her daughter, Wilma Coates and husbands, Loyd Vance and Jessie Crabtree, in Heaven Wednesday, September 5, 2012.
Born January 5, 1929, in Wayne County, she was a daughter of the late Mosey and Dolly Napier.
Edith lived much of her life in Logan County. She was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was also an excellent seamstress.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda K. Collins of Fairdale, with whom she lived with through the progression of her long illness, and Gloria Bartley of Beckley; brother, Mosey Napier of Huntington; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, at Handley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
