LAKE, W.Va. — Margie Faye Nelson, 69, of Lake, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, September 21, 2012, at Lake.
Born February 17, 1943, in Lake, she was a daughter of the late Green and Bessie Nelson of Lake. Also preceding her in death were five brothers and four sisters.
Margie enjoyed singing in church and spending time with her family. She was a member of Mt. Mission Church of Lak.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles D. Nelson of Lake; three sons, Rodney (Sherri) Nelson, Timmy (Brenda) Nelson and Craig (Samantha) Nelson; one sister, Lena Nelson; one brother, Ernie Nelson; five grandchildren, Brittney, Justin, Jordan, Sydney, and Laikyn; two step-grandchildren, Shanna and Emily; one special niece, Genevieve Gordon, who was more like a sister to Margie, and a host of children that loved and knew her as a grandmother.
The family wishes to say a special thank you to her family doctor, Dr. Satish.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, at Mt. Mission Church of Lake with Andrew Miller and Wiley Kent officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday at Freeman Funeral Home..
Pallbearers will be Justin Nelson, Jordan Nelson, Donny Gordon, Josh Gordon, Billy Hayes, and Stevie Nelson. Honorary pallbearers are Alan Gordon, Bobby Miller and Sherman Lester.
Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
