SARASOTA, Fla. — Tonia Whitman (Justice), 49, the daughter of David and Shelby Whitman of Foster, departed this life Sunday, September 16, 2012, at Tidewell Hospice Center in Sarasota.
Additional survivors include three sons, Dexter, Jeremy and Kaleb (Lisa) Justice, all of Sarasota; brother, David (Amy) Whitman of Logan; one sister, Diana (Ron) Herndon of Anchorage, Alaska; one nephew, Dustin Whitman of Sarasota; one niece, Amanda Whitman of Logan, and a lifelong friend, Trish Blevins Woody of Ohio.
Tonia was born July 21, 1963, at William Beaumont Hospital in El Paso, Texas. She was a great mom and homemaker. She was a beautician and a caregiver. Tonia loved traveling and in those travels visited London, Rome and Paris.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 29, at the Fountain of Life Church, Rt. 3, Danville, with Rev. Stacy Dingess and Mike Manuel officiating.
