CHAPMANVILLE — Soccer action continued last Saturday, Sept. 15 in the Coalfield Youth Soccer League in Chapmanville with five matches played.
In the 16-and-under division, the Ninjas defeated the Legends 4-1 behind a two-goal effort by Gage Skeens. Walker Jeffrey and Jared Chapman also had goals.
In the 13-and-under division, the Bulldogs downed the Red Dragons 5-2. Walter MacNamara and Steven Clemens scored two goals each for the Bulldogs. Aidan Napier had one goal. Destiny Jackson and Hailey Chewning had one goal each for the Red Dragons.
The Sharks also beat the Scorpions 2 to nill in a 13-and-under match. Sara Preston and Lauren Hines had one goal apiece for the winners.
In the 9-and-under division, the Warriors were a 9 to nill winner over the Broncos. Isaac Setser and Baylee Adkins each led the Warriors with two goals. Alyssa Chambers, Alanna Tomblin, Sara Kirk, Tori Wilburn and Caroline Adkins also reached the net.
In the other 9-and-under match, the Golden Eagles were a 4 to nill victor over the Sharks. Jayde Kuenzel had two goals and Austin Mills and Peyton Adams had one each.
