CHAPMANVILLE — The Huntington VA Medical Center has announced the relocation of the VA Outreach Clinic, which has been temporarily located in Chapmanville, to its new home in Lenore effective October 1, 2012. The 2,440 square foot VA-staffed clinic will be located in the Lenore Business Center at 2867 Route 65. Today is the last day patients will be seen in Chapmanville.
The Lenore VA Outreach Clinic will be open four days a week, Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Staffed by Dr. Manolo Tampoya and support personnel, the clinic will provide primary care services on an outpatient basis, as well as limited specialty care services available through Telehealth conferencing with providers at the Huntington VA Medical Center.
Area Veterans who receive their care at the Chapmanville VA Clinic are being notified by letter of the clinic’s relocation.
To re-schedule current appointments or to schedule a new appointment, veterans may contact the VA Medical Center toll free at 800-827-8244, extension 7121. Veterans will be able to contact the Lenore Clinic directly at 304-475-3000 beginning October 1. Updates and additional healthcare information will be available on the medical center’s website at www.huntington.va.gov.
