ADAMSVILLE, Ala. — Mr. Johnny Fadlevich, 86, of Adamsville, Ala., formerly of Pecks Mill and Riley, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 6, 2012.
Born December 28, 1925, in Logan County, he was a son of the late Mike and Mary Mance Fadlevich. Also preceding him in death was his son, Gregory David Fadlevich; two sisters, Catherine Fadlevich Yurkovich of Troy, Mich., and Mary Fadlevich of Huntington, and four brothers, Martin Fadlevich Sr., of Adamsville, Bob Fadlevich, of Daytona Beach, Fla., Joe Fadlevich, of Ona and George Fadlevich, of Graysville, Ala.
Johnny served in the Navy during War World II on the USS Hunt and was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. He worked 18 and one-half years for the UMWA in Logan Co. Johnny was also co-owner and president of Graysville Cable Repair Co. Inc., located in Graysville.
Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Barbara Sazy Fadlevich; daughter, Beverly Fadlevich Fairweather, Ala.; son, John Michael Fadlevich (Missy), both of Forestdale, Ala.; grandchildren, John Zachary Fairweather, Jessica Lauren Fadlevich and Amber Renee Fadlevich Goodwin; great-granddaughter, Presley Brooke Renee Goodwin, and sister, Helen Fadlevich (Jack) Sefton, of Ormond Beach, Fla.
Services were held Monday, September 10, at 11 a.m. at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home in Adamsville. Burial was in Crestview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was Sunday, September 9, from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.
