CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mr. William D. “Bill” Steele, 38, of Chapmanville, was born November 27, 1973, at Pontiac, Mich. He departed his life Friday, September 28, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Preceding him in death was his grandfather, William F. Dingess and grandparents, Ewin and Maude Steele.
Bill was a disabled construction worker and carpenter. He loved music, watching “the Voice’, playing the guitar, hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR and many other sports events.
Survivors include his parents, David and Barbara Steele of Chapmanville; grandmother, Clara Dingess of Chapmanville; half-sister, Lisa, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Herb Triplett officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Pallbearers will be Chad Pridemore, Travis Pridemore, J.R. Vance, Jerry Gore, Steve Harvey, Phillip Blevins, Millard Hensley and Bill Toler
Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
