BOONE COUNTY — A Man area resident was killed early Wednesday morning in vehicle accident on Corridor G in Boone County. A passenger in the vehicle was listed in critical condition at press time.
WSAZ.com reports that Boone County Sheriff Deputies say Andrew Hale was heading south near Danville Wednesday morning when he lost control of his Ford Ranger truck and flipped two times. Hale and his passenger Danny Hatfield were thrown from the truck.
Hale was flown to CAMC General in Charleston, Hatfield died at the scene.
Deputies believe Hale may have fallen asleep behind the wheel and that it appeared that neither man was wearing a seat belt.
Traffic along Corridor G was closed in both directions for more than an hour.
