LOGAN, W.Va. — Lucy Mae White, 82 of City View of Logan, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division.
Born January 8, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Cora Ann Hendricks. Also preceding her in death was her husband, James D. White, and one son, George White.
Survivors include her children, Betty (Jerry) Doss of Chapmanville, Darlene (Danny Ray) Adams of City View and James White Jr. of Logan; brothers, Carl (Betty) Hendricks of Phico and Joe (Edith) Hendricks; grandchildren, James Bryant of Holden, Daniel Scaggs and Jennifer of North Carolina, Herman and Amy Bryant of Charleston, Jeremy White and Misty Adkins, both of Logan, George and Tara White of Whitman, Francis Jackson of St. Albans, and Matthew White, James White and Tonya Sloan, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 20, at the James Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roscoe Chafin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of arrangements.
