HENLAWSON, W.Va. — Jerry H. Elliott, 78, of Henlawson, formerly of Mansfield, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 21, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Born April 25, 1934, he was a son of the late John and Goldie Elliott. Also preceding him in death were five brothers, Walter, Eugene, Chuck, Johnny and Paul; three sisters, Alberta, Mary, and Gladis, and hise life-long companion, Shirley Annette Carpenter.
Jerry was a retired worker of Richland Brick Yard and American Tool and Die Company, both of Ashland, Ohio, and was half owner of J&J Custom Towing of Mansfield. He was associated with the Church of God of Ashland where he and Shirley attended frequently.
Survivors include one brother, Frank (Dorothy) Elliot of Wooster, Ohio; one daughter, Tracey Elliott of Louisville, Ky.; one son, Rodrick Elliot of Cresco, Pa.; one granddaughter, Markeeshia Baker; two grandsons, Remington Elliot and George Elliott, and three great-granddaughters, all of Sundusky, Ohio; one stepson, Jeffrey (Nancy) Carpenter of Henlawson, formerly of Mansfield; seven nieces; 13 nephews, and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date by family.
James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of arrangements.
