HARTS, W.Va. — Clifford Neil Farmer, 53, of Toney Addition of Harts, went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 28, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born August 1, 1959, in West Hamlin, he was a son of Betty Gay Headley Farmer and the late Clifford Wade Farmer.
Also preceding him in death was a brother-in-law, Freddy Sheppard; mother-in-law, Velva Marcum; father-in-law, Jim Marcum, and sister-in-law, Wilma Farmer.
Neil enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad. He was a Sunday School Superintendent and he loved his children and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Deborah Farmer; one daughter, Serina (Darryl) McCloud of Toney Addition; one son, Joseph Neil Farmer of Toney Addition; two sisters, Linda (Dannie) Thomas and Janie (Gary) Hurst, both of Toney Addition;
two brothers, Richard Farmer and Michael S. Farmer, both of Toney Addition; two grandchildren, Tiffany McCloud and Ashley McCloud, both of Toney Addition; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held at noon Tuesday, January 1, at Little Hart Freewill Baptist Church at Atenville with Manasses Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Farmer Cemetery at Toney Addition.
Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Monday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Darryl McCloud, Joe Farmer, Richard Farmer, Steve Farmer, Jason Sheppard II, and Luke Farmer.
Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
