HARTS, W.Va. — Wilma Jean Farmer, 47, of Harts, departed this life Thursday, December 27, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington.
Born January 1, 1965, in Logan, she was a daughter of the late Ed and Doris Jean Sanders Mullins. Also preceding her in death was her father-in-law, Clifford Farmer, and two brothers-in-law, Freddy Sheppard and Neil Farmer.
Wilma enjoyed planting and growing flowers, her cats, kittens and parakeets, watching hummingbirds, and spending time with her children.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard Clinton Farmer; two daughters, Amberly (Robbie) Grimmett and Sabrina Farmer, both of Harts; one son, Luke Farmer of Harts; two sisters, Brenda (Joe) Haney, and Charlotte Cox; one brother, Ray Mullins; one grandchild, Auna Grimmett; mother-in-law, Betty Farmer; two sisters-in-law, Linda Thomas and Janie Hurst, and one brother-in-law, Steve Farmer.
A special thank you to the ladies at HIMG Chemo Room and Linda Thomas.
Services will be held at noon Monday, December 31, at Freeman Funeral Home with Ronnie Manns officiating. Burial will follow at Toney Cemetery at Toney Addition of Harts.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Grimmett, Nick Hurst, Jason Sheppard, Gary Hurst, Steve Farmer, and Doug Kirk
Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
