HAMLIN, W.Va. — Allie Lee Miller, was born March 28, 1936, a daughter of the late Milton and Drusilla Watts Vance. She passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, at the age of seventy-six years, nine months and ten days old.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Hobert Miller, and two grandsons, Joshua Wayne Miller and David James Miller.
Allie was a member of Four Mile United Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Faron (Kathy) Miller of East Lynn, Danny (Bonnie) Miller of Salt Rock and Jesse (Kelly) Miller of Sweetland; three daughters, Cammie (Rodney) Courts of Hamlin, Pam (Steve) Mills of Salt Rock and Julie Miller (George) of Tazwell, Va.; four brothers, Bill Vance of Harts, Fisher (Nina) Vance of Branchland and Watt Vance, both of Branchland, and John Vance of Hamlin; three sisters, Helen Meade and Julia Kay Hicks, both of Harts, and Lilly Miller of Branchland; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 10, at Koontz Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Brumfield and Elder Fisher Vance officiating. Interment will follow at Hobert Miller Cemetery on Camp Branch Road at Sweetland.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
