DETROIT, Mich. — Rexal Williamson, 73, departed this life Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at St. John Hospital in Detroit, Mich., with his family by his side.
Born May 27, 1939, in Stirrat, he was a son of the late Roosevelt and Perlina Marcum Williamson.
Rexal retired from Ford Motor where he worked in maintenance. He enjoyed traveling, was a member of the Omar Crime Watch and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving ex-wife, Brenda; he was the dearest father of Michael, Stephen, Deanna (Robert) Hunsberger, Debra-Jo Tichansky, Rex Jr. and Jerry; a loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and a dear brother of Lorean Stages, Judy Taylor, Nola Klonowski, Darlene Scholander and Jerry Williamson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Junior Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
