The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) of Logan High School hosted a Victory Celebration for the Lady Wildcats at their March 1 meeting. The Lady Wildcats won their regional game against St. Albans and gained the right to play in the Girl’s Basketball State Tournament in Charleston for the first time since 2000. FCA President, Trent Dalton called the meeting to order and Matt Mayo led in opening prayer. Inspirational words on having faith in God, your abilities, and future goals challenged the FCA membership. Adviser to the FCA at LHS is John E. Godby. Godby applauded the Lady Wildcats for their fantastic season. “The LHS FCA has a solid membership that faithfully assembles each Friday at lunchtime,” Godby said. “The FCA’s goal is to build up the inner man and promote spirituality.”
