CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Andreau Chapman Morgan, 25, of Charleston, formerly of Gilbert, went home to his heavenly Father Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Andreau was born January 2, 1988 in Logan, WV.
Andreau was a loving son, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was employed by the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Charleston. He loved hunting and golfing. He enjoyed a genre of music and played the guitar. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Justice. He was compassionate, funny, and had a very loving spirit.
Preceding him in death were his great-grandparents, Montana and Maple Chapman, Lavern Testerman, and Elmer and Sissie Cline Morgan; grandmother, Jackie Fines Morgan; his father, French Delane Morgan; his sisters, Heather and Jaclyn Morgan, and a very special cousin, Racina Rae Chapman.
Those left to love and cherish Andreau include his mother, Melissa Chapman (Dwayne) Cline of Logan; stepsister, Haley Fortuna of Beckley; great-grandmother, Virginia Testerman of Gilbert; grandparents, Eddie “Paw” and Gay “Mum-Mum” Chapman, Eddie and Karen Grimmett and Conrad and Mag Cline, all of Gilbert; paternal grandfather, French Morgan of Hanover; aunts and uncles, Douglas (uncle) and Sam Chapman and Warren and Vicki (aunt) Brown, all of Gilbert, and Eric (uncle) and Lea Morgan and Aunt Beth Morgan, all of Lerona; cousins, including Josh (cousin) and Nicole Chapman and Sarah Chapman, all of Gilbert, cousin Madison Brown and fiancé Whitney Blankenship of Huntington, and cousins Hayden and Livi Morgan of Lerona, and nieces, Kelsy and Hanna Morgan of Brenton.
Honorary pallbearers include Blake Burgess, Terrance Carter, Shane Eisenhower, Jonathan Lester, Quinn Miller, David Sneade and Randall Stanley.
Pallbearers will be Madison Brown, Josh Chapman, Sarah Chapman, Caleb Cline, Jordan Dean, Doug Green, Robert Grimmett Jr., Nick McCoy, Andrew Mudd, and Ronnie Stacy.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joaquine Ooten officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapman Family Cemetery at Baisden.
Friends may gather with the family from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
