McCONNELL — McConnell Tabernacle hosted a Valentine Luncheon February 17, 2013, following the morning worship service by Keith McClung.
His message was taken from John 6:5-13, entitled “A Basket of Loaves and Fishes.”
The fellowship hall was decorated with red, pink, white heart embellished tablecloths. Arrangements were heart and floral baskets designed by Dr. Charles Wood. Tea lights added to create a soft warm glow for the luncheon.
Those attending were Eugene and Rose Hensley, Steve and Charlotte Chapman, Keith and Anita McClung, Clara Maynard, Barbara Harrison, Merl, Tammy and Hannah Thompson, Ardith Epperhart, Josie Curry, Nathan and Preston Adams, Phyllis Henderson, Kathy Keyser, Richard Clevenger, Charles Murphy, Phyllis Sadler, Bobbie Robinette, Carolyn Kelly, Larry and Shelia Bledsoe, Kayla Maynard, Zachary and Kaylin Marcum, Bobbie Stambaugh, Rema Butcher, Donna Vaughn and Cindy McClung.
Anita McClung was honored for her birthday with a cake and gift. Door prizes were awarded to Kayla Maynard and Kaylin Marcum.
