HENLAWSON, W.Va. — Johnny A. Patrick, 50, of Henlawson, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Logan Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born March 12, 1963, in Logan County, he was a son of Mary Hager Patrick and the late Harold “Bob” Patrick. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Walter Lee Patrick, and his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and nephews.
Johnny was a disabled coal miner last employed at Argus Energy No. 7.
Additional survivors include his son, Timothy Mark (Mandi) Patrick of Stollings; brothers, Harold (Tina) Patrick of Kitchen and Matthew Patrick of Henlawson; one sister, Elizabeth (James) McKenzie of Clendenin, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at James Funeral Home with Adam Trent officiating. At the family’s request, his body will be cremated.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the ICU/CCU staff at Logan Regional Medical Center for their care and compassion they showed Johnny and his family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to James Funeral Home of Aracoma.
