MONAVILLE, W.Va. — Keith Edward Hughes, 55, of Monaville, departed this life Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his residence.
Born September 22, 1957, in Logan, he was a son of Wanda Smith Hughes and the late Jack Hughes. Also preceding him in death were his grandparents, Walter and Emma Hughes and Floyd and Grace Smith; his first wife, Debbie Hatfield, and his second ex-wife, Frankie Toney.
Keith was a disabled coal miner and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Additionally, those left to cherish his memories include two sons, Tony (Kim) Hughes of Sarah Ann and Chad (Bethany) Hughes of Holden; two step-children, Jaime and Aaron Vance of Chapmanville; three brothers, Jack (Mary “Boot”) Hughes and Gary (Brenda) Hughes, both of Huntington, and Greg (Lisa) Hughes of Monaville; two sisters, Brenda Hall of Columbus, Ohio, and Diana Toney of Monaville; five grandchildren, Anthony “AJ”, Stormy, Larissa and Logan Hughes and Dakota Booth. Keith enjoyed spending his time with his family, grandchildren and all of his nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 5, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Wooten and Pastor Harold McMillen officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Godby.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
