There were two boil water notices issued and one advisory lifted on Wednesday.

The West Logan Water Company issued a boil water advisory for their customers in the West Logan, Peach Creek and Crooked Creek areas due to a break in the main line.

Effective immediately, the Logan Water Department issued a boil water advisory due to a break in an eight inch water main line behind the Logan Post Office. The advisory is for the ares from Logan Post Office, all behind Logan Post Office, Chestnut St., Upper Charles St., and Mountain Lake Park until further notice.

Customers are to bring water to a boil for one minute before using. Also, use caution when doing laundry.

Customers of the areas will be notified when they will no longer need to boil their water. Customers are also asked share this information with other people who are customers in this area, especially those who may not have received this notice.

The Logan County Public Service District lifted a boil water advisory issued March 27 for Hainer Branch at Chapmanville.
