MADISON, W.Va. — Alma Jean Ballard Wilkins, 75, of Madison, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Boone Memorial Hospital at Madison.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Opie and Gertrude Wills Bias; daughters, Sharon Ballard Randall and Drema Sue Ballard; sons, John Ballard and Patrick Ballard, and brothers, Rodney and Ricci Bias.

Survivors include her daughter, Deneaise (Victor) Gore of Madison; sons, Ross (Cindy) Ballard and Perry (Tricia) Ballard, both of Martinsburg, Michael (Lora) Ballard of Washington Heights, Paul (Donna) of Sissonville, and Adrian (Debbie) Ballard of Miami, Fla.; daughter, Alicia Roth of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Ball of Danville, Deloris Murray of West Logan, Opal (James) Carroll of Chesapeake, W.Va., Hazel (Herbie) Browning of Blair, Joellen (Jim) White of Atlanta, Ga., and Ramona (Jim) Chambers of Pecks Mill; a brother, Rex (Christa) Bias of Sharples, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at noon, Sunday, April 7, at Ballard Cemetery at Washington Heights with John Harden and the Rev. Tom Bias officiating.
