BIM, W.Va. — Brenda Kay Lusk, 65, of Bim, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 27, 2013, after a long illness.

Born March 16, 1948, she was a daughter of Lawrence Lusk of Van and the late Maggie Lusk. Also preceding her in death was one son, Shawn Browning; sister, Iris Lusk, and brother, Johnny Lusk

Brenda was a member of the Greenwood Church of God where she was a Sunday school teacher before she became ill.

Additional survivors include her husband of 27 years, Marlyn Lusk; two daughters, Lynn (Randy) Green of Bim and Joyce (Ricky) Gunnoe of Gordon; three step-daughters, Betty (James) Cox of Van, Janetta (Tony) Hall of North Carolina and Elizabeth (Danny) Richmond of Bim; grandchildren, Tony Hall of South Carolina, Marlie Green, Chris Green, Edmund Vance and Aaron Vance, all of Bim, Amanda Hall of North Carolina, Tessa Green of James Creek, Amber Pridemore of Gordon, and Sandra Cox and James Allen Cox, both of Van; sisters, Rosalie (Roger) Green of Greenwood, Lisa (Darren) Peters of Foster, Elizabeth Lusk of Van, Eva Vance of Madison and Velma McClanahan of Turtle Creek; brother, Larry Osborne of Oceana, and a host of family and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Greenwood Church of God with the Rev. Donnie Elam and Pastor David Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens at Madison.

Pallbearers will be Randy Green, Chris Green, James Cox, Tony Hall, Danny Richmond, Ricky Gunnoe, Carl Pridemore, Roger Green, Jesse Lusk and Darren Peters.

Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
