OMAR, W.Va. — Ethelene Bailey Hall, 85, of Omar, departed this life Friday, May 3, 2013, at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
Born in Rossmore, she was a daughter of the late Homer Bailey Sr. and Janie Queen. Also preceding her in death was her spouse, Billie Hall; one daughter, Brenda Hall; two sons, Robert Craig and William Butch Hall; two grandsons, Christopher Robert Daniels and Billy D. Hall; two brothers, Homer Bailey Jr. and Leslie Bailey, and one sister, Libby Harrison.
She was a homemaker and had worked for the Logan County Board of Education as a school bus driver and was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish her memories are one son, Darrell (Bonnie) Hall of Mt. Gay; two daughters, Cheryl Hall of Charleston and Sharon (Shilo) Daniels of Cocoa, Fla.; two brothers, Shelby Gene Bailey of Virginia and Jackie Bailey of West Virginia; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful, caring, and great mother and grandmother who was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 6, at First Baptist Church of McConnell with Pastor Roscoe Chafin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
