CROOKED CREEK, W.Va. — Connie Lynn Fleming, 53, of Crooked Creek, departed this life Monday, May 6, 2013, at the Rock Castle Rehabilitation Center in Kentucky.
Born April 22, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Rush and Wanda Balentine of Chauncey.
Connie was a member of the Orville Holiness Church of Rum Creek. She was a caring and generous woman that touched the lives of everyone that knew her.
Connie was the beloved wife of Ralph Fleming; the loving mother of four children, Lisa Fleming, Crystal and AJ Fleming, Angel and Bryan Shell, Keith Daniel and Teryn Fleming; the proud grandmother of Hailey, Kenzi, Miley and Lilly Fleming, Savannah, Conner and Cayden Shell and Ryan Keith Fleming; sister of Donna and Bruce Fleming and Eddie Balentine; daughter-in-law of Charles and the late Levedah Fleming; sister-in-law of Mike and Tonya Fleming, Anita and Sammy Gore, Scotty and Rhonda Fleming; aunt of Katie Fleming, Kyle Pittman, Elizabeth and Bootsy Adams, Todd Fleming, Kevin Fleming, Zatto Gore, Chris and Kara Kirtley, Adrienna Fleming and Kaylee Fleming, and claimed a host of many special friends and family that she loved dearly.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at James Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the McDonald Cemetery at Crooked Creek.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of arrangements.
