CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Tina Lou Jeffrey Parr, 47 of Chapmanville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 9, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington.
Born November 9, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of Ruth Ann Jeffrey and the late Troy Edsel Jeffrey.
Also preceding her in death was her brother-in-law, Ricky Allen.
Tina was a wonderful caregiver to her mother, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Chapmanville, a teachers aide for Special Needs Children at Chapmanville Regional High School and a collector of Wizard of Oz.
Additionally, those left to cherish her memory include her special friend and his son, Harold and Austin Smith; two sons, Samuel Ross Westlake (girlfriend Brie Hochbein) and Zachary Paul Westlake; two sisters, Cheryl Ann Allen and Jill Rigsby; one brother, Michael Alan Jeffrey; eight nieces and nephews, Sara, Guy, Frank, Christopher, Logan, Courtney, Cassie and Adam; special cousin, Gee Gee Workman; her best friends, Denise Hafer Weil and Janetta Pridemore, and her special pets, Socks, Roxy and Beau.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at Freeman Funeral Home with John Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Sam Westlake, Zachary Westlake, Edward James, Guy Allen, Christopher Rigsby, and Isaac Dingess.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Jeffrey, Greg Butcher and Jim Smith.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Association.
Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
