HARTS, W.Va. — Mr. Wayne Watts, 74, of Harts, was born August 13, 1938, in Wayne County, a son of the late John and Stella Clark Watts. He departed this life Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Harts.

Mr. Watts was a retired/disabled coal miner and member of the UMWA.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Thompson Watts; children, Angela Blanche, Dwayne Wes, Timothy Joe, Billy Ray (Rachel), John Wootson (Amanda) and David Emanuel Wayne Watts, all of Harts; grandchildren, Ashley McNeely, Tiffany Goodman, Hannah Watts, Brian Johnson, Gracie Mae Watts, Michael Levi Watts, Jesse Renelle Watts, John Mason Watts, Devin Gregory Dwayne Watts, Chase Austin Watts, Katie McCallister, Bryson Workman and Michael Andrew Thompson; two great-grandchildren, and siblings, Delbert (Bessie) Watts, Raymond (Essie) Watts, Elbert (Cynthia) Watts, Willis Watts, David (Georgia) Watts, Alice Bradley, John Wayne (Lena) Watts and Bill Lester Watts.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Chapman Memorial Freewill Baptist Church at Harts. Burial will follow in the Thompson Branch Cemetery at Harts.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville is serving the Watts family.
