DANVILLE, W.Va. — Freddie Joe Miller, beloved husband, father and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
Born July 23, 1939, he was a son of the late Fred and Gladys Miller. Also preceding him in death was a granddaughter, Rose Mary Workman; grandson-in-law, Michael Adkins Jr., and three children, Moses, Patricia and Ann.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Miller; one step-son, Johnny Roberts; four daughters, Debby Clark, Darlene (Jimmy) Workman, Sherry Workman and Rose (Clyde) Bender; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He loved life and traveling. He also loved animals, especially his dog, Buttons. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, at Handley Funeral Home with Ernest Neace officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery at Harts.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
