COX’S MILL, W.Va. — Mr. Kenneth Leroy Osborn, 85, of Cox’s Mill, formerly of Logan, was born July 12, 1927, in Gilmer County, a son of the late Winfield Scott and Ruby Bush Osborn. He departed this life Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the VA Medical Center at Clarksburg.


Mr. Osborn was a retired equipment operator for the West Virginia Dept. of Highways,a member of the VFW, a 32nd degree Mason and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II.


Also preceding him in death was his siblings and wives.


Survivors include a son, Junior Osborn of Linn; daughter, Barbara (Robert) Jones of Glenville; step-children, Bobby (Temple) Farley and Debbie Chaney Midkiff, both of Whitman, Lura (Eugene) Wentz of Charleston, Gary (Charlotte) Radcliff of Sand Fork and Betty (Robert) Jones of Sissonville, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville. Burial will follow in the Rose-Tomblin Cemetery at Mud Fork.


Visitation will begin one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.


Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
