Even though services at the Lyburn Post Office have been temporarily suspended, its postal customers are being provided with the same services.
Logan Postmaster Thea Dunford says customers should still use their Lyburn address and ZIP code, no changes need to be made.
“Repairs need to be made to the building at Lyburn, which is why service there has been suspended. Lyburn customers who get their mail at home will get their mail as usual. There is a box section for Lyburn customers at the Man Post Office. People can call any of the post offices to get answers to any questions they may have,” said Dunford.
Dunford also wants customers to know of two new stamps being issued by the post office. The Johnny Cash stamp came out this week and the new West Virginia stamp will be available on West Virginia Day, June 20. A large supply of these stamps was ordered to be sure there was an adequate supply available.
