SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. — Alice Constance Jackson, 84, of Summersville, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, in the Summersville Regional Medical Center.
Born December 20, 1928, at Syracuse, Kan.., she was a daughter of the late Henry Alman and Odessa Few Sewell. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Carson Jackson, in 1992.
Alice was a homemaker and former bookkeeper for Pammlid Coal Company. She was also a member of the Triadelphia Women’s Club and the Mallory Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Kit (Paula) Jackson of Summersville and Carson “Pete” (Sharon) Jackson of Ona; daughter, Drema Jackson (companion Wayne Beasley) of Portsmouth, Ohio; brother, Ralph Sewell of Woodbridge, Va.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 28, in the Waters Funeral Chapel with Pastors Glen White and Drew Bledsoe officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum at Oak Hill.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
