The Salvation Army is back in Logan. After being located in Chapmanville for over a year, all social service programs have been moved from Chapmanville back to the Logan location.
Services available include: Food Assistance; utility assistance; clothing assistance; disaster assistance and emergency shelter assistance;
All services require evaluation. To apply for assistance, bring the following items: a valid photo ID; identification for everyone in the household; proof of income; proof of expenses and proof of address (a bill or something with your name and address on it)
Anyone in need is encouraged to come in and apply for assistance. Anyone wishing to serve as a volunteer is also welcome to come in.

The address for the Salvation Army office in Logan is 544 Stratton St., and the best number to call is 304-752-9114. The office is open to anyone in need on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
