Carrie Bly, Communications Specialist, West Virginia Department of Transportation released a brief update on W.Va. Route 10.
Tri River Transit (TRT) was forced to stop their regular service from Logan to Man when the road was closed.Starting the week of August 19, 2013, TRT will provide “Demand Response” service to the area each Tuesday and Thursday. Anyone interested in scheduling a pick up is asked to call the office 24 hours in advance. Call Tri River Transit at 877-212-0815.
The field office update is reporting progress made by Bizzack Construction is now about 90 feet above the grade they need to be at (they were 107 feet above it last week).
As of Monday, they had moved about 120,000 cubic yards of rock from the area. This puts them about 30 percent overall complete with the total yardage that needs to be moved on the Rum Creek cut.
