Fans filled the Pineville gym on Saturday, as local America’s Got Talent (AGT) third place winner Jimmy Rose performed a free show for his fans before heading back to New York on Sunday to prepare for the AGT tour.

Rose greeted his fans, thanking them for helping him be successful on the show and telling them he looked forward to what the future holds.

After singing several songs with his brother Chris, Rose took a break and was recognized by Sen. Mitch McConnell.

McConnell entered a Tribute to Jimmy Rose as a Congressional Record. According to McConnell’s field representative Donna McClure, this is the highest honor a senator can give. Fans can view the Congressional Record in its entirety by going to congress.gov and searching ‘Jimmy Rose’.

After the concert, Rose sold CDs, signed autographs and took pictures with fans. The CDs sold out within the first half of the meet and greet but Rose’s girlfriend Heather and his sister Victoria will be set up at the Big Blue parking lot this Thursday beginning at 11:30 a.m. with signed CDs.
