Dignity Hospice held its 1st annual Charity Golf Scramble on Thursday, September 5, at Riverview Country Club.
It was a beautiful sunny day for members of the community who formed teams for the event.
Fun and surprises filled the day including a Calloway Golf bag autographed by J.B. Holmes and two flags signed by Greenbrier Classic champions Ted Potter Jr. and Scott Stollings, all donated by the Greenbrier Classic for the charity event.
The following teams were represented: Patterson Stone Quarry, FL-Smidth Ludowici, Nationwide Insurance-Greg Dalton, Rebound Physical Therapy, Evans Funeral Home, Mountain Laurel, Team Kirkendol, Southern Medical and Team Dignity, with trophies going to 1st place Evans Funeral Home, 2nd place Team Dalton, and 3rd place Team Dignity.

Longest Putt – Joey Ingram
The Madison Middle School Golf team earned community service hours by assisting in the event.
