Fans of Jimmy Rose who have been wanting a CD of his music can pick it up locally on Saturday.

Some of Rose’s family and friends will be set up at Pizza Inn in Tazewell from 2 until 4 p.m. with CDs available.

Rose, a singer and songwriter from Pineville, Ky., recently shot to stardom with his appearances on America’s Got Talent (AGT) and third place win in the televised competition. He is currently participating in the nationwide AGT tour.

His original song he performed for his AGT audition, “Coal keeps the lights on,” is included on the CD.

Local fans are urged to go by Pizza Inn on Saturday to purchase a CD, but there are other ways of obtaining one.

“If you want a CD you can also go to my Facebook and fan page for details on how to purchase them,” Rose said during a break on the tour, adding that the current CD is “a raw acoustic, live sounding” work.

“I’m still waiting for clearance to release my official studio cut of ‘Coal keeps the lights on’,” he added.

Tazewell’s Pizza Inn hosted a meet and greet for Rose during his time on AGT and the staff is looking forward to hosting his family, friends and fans Saturday.

“We are so excited to be able to continue to support Jimmy in his journey,” said Lea Roy, Pizza Inn manager. “I’m sure that the best is yet to come. And, I’m so excited to meet everyone who will be coming through!”
