HAMLIN — The Logan High School boys’ basketball team reached the .500 mark with Tuesday night’s 83-47 blowout win at struggling Lincoln County.
Logan (6-6) was led by Zak Miller, who canned eight 3-pointers and finished with 24 points.
Zac Acord also pitched in 13 points for the Wildcats, which sank 14-of-21 shots from beyond the 3-point arc.
Jacob Hudson led the Panthers (3-11) with 12 points and Jake Reynolds scored 10.
Logan led 23-12 after one quarter, 45-23 at the half and 67-34 after three.
The Wildcats also got nine points from Braxton Goff, seven each from Brynden Street and Brenton Vance, six from Seth Barker and five points from Alex Toler. Josh Rein and Kyle Porter had three each. Kareem Clansy, Hunter Neal and Jalen Cook chipped in with two apiece.
The Wildcats are scheduled to return to action on Friday night at Point Pleasant. Logan hosts Westside on Saturday night, then goes to Class AAA sectional opponent on Monday night at Huntington.
LHS hosts Tug Valley on Feb. 15 and then plays Winfield on Feb. 18 at the Charleston Civic Center.
