Dan Hensley from Chapmanville’s Dan Hensley Ministries, West Virginia University Tech’s Head Baseball Coach Lawerence Nesselrodt and the Fellowship of Christian Atheletes of WVU Tech will be hosting a National Day of Prayer service tonight at the W. Va. State Capitol Complex in the Lower Rotunda.

“This is a service for everyone! No matter what name is over your church house doors, come and join us for this day of prayer. If you don’t go to church still come! You are just as important too. Come and worship together and uplift the name of Jesus Christ” said Hensley. “Let’s pray for whatever you may be going through: our country, our jobs, and our government. Let’s all be that one body of Jesus Christ.”

Special guests attending the meeting will be Mayor of Chapmanville Jerry Price, Shane Bryant, Joey Kennedy, Jonny Slazo and Chad Neil.

Hensley’s theme for this year’s service comes from Joshua 1:9:

“Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: For the lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest”
