Browning returns to ring Saturday night

Mingo County boxer Warren Browning will be fighting for the ABA Northwest Cruiserweight belt this Saturday, May 17 at the Ohio Valley University campus located in Vienna, W.Va.

Browning has a record of 18-3 and will take on Joe Pantiff of Parkersburg who is 9-2.

Browning returns to the ring after a hand injury he suffered while training late last year.

Browning said he has been training hard and is ready to go in the bout for this weekend.

The bouts are under the guidance of Chase Hill of Black-eye Promotions of Danville, W.Va.

There are several other fights on the card. They are:

Joe Paintiff vs. Warren Browning

Billy Cottrill vs. Orion Bolds

Donny Miller vs. Brian Strickland

Preston Wilson vs. Anthony Dave

Steven Whitehair vs. Steven A. Chesnik

Plus 12 amateur fights.

All fights are sanctioned by the W.Va. Athletic Commission.
