Three men were trapped under a tree in Pecks Mill last night due to the storms that hit Logan County.

Firefighters from Henlawson Fire Department responded to a call on Big Valley Road of a downed tree last night at 9:10 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found three men trapped under the tree.

The men had been running to avoid the tree when it fell and struck all three of them.

Fire crews spent over an hour cutting the men out from under the tree and stabilizing the patients. A fire department EMT quickly stabilized, treated and prioritized transportation due to the conditions of the men.

All three men were transported to Logan Regional Medical Center with various injuries and severity of conditions. No conditions have officially been released.

The quick response of the fire department was credited to the quick removal of the trapped men.
