Memorial Day is the often thought of as the opening day of the summer season for opening private and public swimming pools. More than 200 swimmers took advantage of the Chief Logan State Park swimming pool Monday as temps neared the high 80s. Beginning June 11, Chief Logan State Park swimming pool will be open every day from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. until Labor Day. The pool will be open to the public on Sat., May 31, and Sun., June 1. Cost is $5 for ages 12 and up; $4 for ages 11-6 and ages 5 and under can swim for free. Children ages 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
