BUCKHORN—The Kentucky River Area Development District (KRADD), an organization tasked with working to improve the quality of life for citizens in its eight-county region, held its annual celebration at Buckhorn Lodge last week, during which new board members were seated.
LetcherCounty Judge-Executive Jim Ward replaced Whitesburg Mayor James W. Craft as Chairman of the Board for the next year.Vice-Chairman Dale Bishop, of Owsley County, Treasurer and Pippa Passes Mayor Scott Cornett, Secretary and Wolfe County Judge-Executive Dennis Brooks, and Parliamentarian and Jenkins Mayor G. C. Kincer were all sworn in on Wednesday at the luncheon as officers of the board.
