SOUTH MAN — Mrs. Katherine Ellis and Mrs. Daryla Jackson, Universal Pre-K teachers at South Man Elementary, is sharing their students’ recipes, “How to cook a turkey – Pre-K Style.”

The Pre-K students celebrated Thanksgiving last week by making Native American headbands, disguising Tom the Turkey, listening to Thanksgiving stories, and enjoying a Thanksgiving feast that their cooks prepared.

For the recipes, students were asked several questions regarding how to cook a turkey: “Who cooks your Thanksgiving turkey?”; “Where do you get your turkey?”; “How much does it cost?’ and “How does mom/dad fix the turkey?”

Mrs. Danita Noel is principal at South Man Elementary.
