MAN — Town of Man Mayor Jim Blevins, along with the Hatfield-McCoy Convention and Visitors Bureau, has announced the winners for the First Annual Town of Man Christmas Decorating Contest.

Residential winner was Burgess Addition residents Butch and Vicki Cobb and Frances Grimmett. Their design featured hand-cut, painted gingerbread men, peppermint candies and candy canes. Their prize was a gift basket from “Baskets by Design” Cattails & Me at Delbarton.

Town of Man business owner Terri Schoolcraft, owner of the Antique Junkshun, was the winner for the best decorated business. Her whimsical design consisted of mannequins with wings and Christmas tree skirts. They were awarded a plaque for their win.

Mayor Blevins said he was pleased to see the town’s people participate in the contest and only hopes that it will be even bigger next year.
