In addition to working as Vice Present of Operations for his family’s business, McGrew Tire Company, he also serves on the Board of Directors for the Logan County Chamber of Commerce and has been recognized for his leadership as one of the 2012 West Virginia Young Guns by West Virginia Executive Magazine.

The Board elected to designate Dr. Pat White to represent them on the regional council known as RESA II. White has served as a Board Member since 2010 and was re-elected to serve another four-year term this past May. He is a retired employee of Logan County Schools where he had held various positions including Assistant Superintendent, Director of Title I, Director of Transportation and worked as a classroom teacher.

“We are fortunate to have Phyllis Adkins, Mark McGrew, Debbie Mendez, and Dr. Pat White as Board Members,” Frye said. “Both Mr. McGrew and Dr. White have a great deal of leadership experience that can be used to help our board guide the school system. I am confident that by working together our board can make Logan County Schools great.”
