The annual outdoor drama, “The Aracoma Story,” opened this week at the Liz Spurlock Amphitheatre at Chief Logan State Park. The play tells the story of British soldier Boling Baker and his love for Shawnee princess Aracoma.

The play is scheduled to run on Friday and next Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30 p.m. each evening.

Ticket prices are: $12 at the gate and $11 in advance for adults; $10 at the gate and $9 in advance for seniors; and $8 at the gate and $7 advance for children (3-12 years). Advanced tickets can be purchased at Pic-Pac Supermarket in Man, Aracoma Drug in Chapmanville and Apex Printing in downtown Logan. Phone orders are also taken by calling the TAS office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 304-752-0253.

The Aracoma Story will run through July 26.
